SCADA Security Training in Las Vegas and in Houston SOLD OUT

This year at BlackHat, our 2-day SCADA Security course with Tom Parker was sold out the second year in a row with 80 students attending. We then offered the 5-day version (SCADA Security Advanced) course in Houston at the end of August and had to raise the student count to accomodate the demand. We had the largest course ever with 57 students. Since it was held here in The Woodlands, Texas, we were able to bring out every PLC, RTU, embedded board, and blinking device that had an Ethernet port on it, and we also brough out some legacy serial devices as well. We had over 40 SCADA and telemetry devices present at the front of the room, and we were happy that we didn’t bring down the power capacity of the Marriott hotel > see image below >

We also brought in several of the devices that we had built for the University of Houston’s SCADA lab. It was a good course, and many of the students enjoyed the location, since several excellent local resturants, bars, and shopping were all within walking distance.

Our next event will be at the Hacker Halted conference in Miami South Beach – hopefully see you guys there!!
